Board Game Discussion Video - Number of Players
6One major aspect of board gaming that we both think about and don't is how many players we have. It's important for determining what game(s) to play and, just as importantly, which games not to play. The problem is that some games work much better than others for the same number of people.
Oftentimes it's clear when a game was designed for a specific number, even if it has "wiggle room" where different numbers are possible. Here, I discuss such things - what games are good with different numbers, how can you tell, and what does it mean for us gamers?
More importantly, though, is YOU! What do you all think about this? Do you get frustrated with games that become WAY less fun when you have more or fewer players than you should? Are you able to tell how good a game will be with different numbers before playing? Let me know in the comments!
