I really dislike drop systems where enemies have a rare chance to drop sellable items rather than dropping guaranteed money, since that makes it hard to break even financially.
0:00 Unlocking the Secret Class
You normally choose between Fighter or Tinker, which are simpler, straightforward classes. However, if you keep refusing each choice, the game eventually makes you a Joker, a gimmicky blue mage class.

Like in PoD, you have to collect hidden items and look for secret passageways.
To continue the story, talk to your mom to receive a package and deliver it to the engineer.
According to the guide of the original version, you can activate the piano during the first minute of the engineer's countdown, but it doesn't seem to work in this version. Maybe the trigger is different?
17:10 Hidden Money Room
In Westway, there's a hidden room containing urns full of currency. This is important, since the game is so stingy with money. You can also pay the chicken to increase the spawn rate of elite enemies.
19:25 Home P2
Return to the engineer to get your combat robot, and then do the battle tutorial with the Champion. She won't attack, so don't waste any MP, especially from the robot. Annoyingly, recovering robot HP and MP requires special items that you can't obtain easily.
30:21 Slumberwoods & Hushlands
You can fight the bat, which has a low chance of dropping potions. Sadly, it's so low that it's hard to break even, so fighting it too much is just a drain on resources.

Hope you made some sufficient preparations. Note that you can retreat from the board, which will cause all red encounter nodes to reactivate. You can take advantage of this to grind, but note that you would need three card drops to break even with fully recovering the robot.
To unlock the boss, you must get to all blue MP healing nodes.
40:43 Boss: Jerax
This boss is very weak to fire, which means the robot can make short work of it. I guess it's deliberately easy because Elsa won't have much MP at this point.

Sadly, the reward is random and may or may not be suitable for your class.
Sadly, I can't revisit the board, which means I can't get old cards in case I need to relearn skills for the Joker class. I'm starting to regret this class.
The merchant now has new stuff, and I recommend getting the stunning skill for the robot.
You can't return to Home yet, since the four-person party is blocking the path. That's aggravating if you really need to heal the robot.
48:25 Hushlands
Talk to the elf near the fountain, and then go back to the Slumberwoods to talk to the elf near the board portal. You learn that you need to use honey on golden flowers in order to get rid of the slime frogs that block your path. The bat in that map also has a one-time honey drop.
Near the second portal, there's a whirlpool that takes you back to town, allowing you to bypass the annoying adventurers.
55:38 Back on the Other Side
There's some new NPC dialogue about Elsa being the new chosen one of the boards.
58:38 Witch Hut
For some reason, upon meeting Linve, you get the chance to change Elsa's name. That's such a random placement for a naming mechanic, and it only works once.
You need to gather certain collectibles for Linve's secret concoction, which might be able to take out the strange purple plants.
