The Pierce Bomb makes your bombs spiky and metallic, so that their explosion can keep going through Soft Blocks they just destroyed. I ignore it because the Remote Bomb is still better, in my opinion.

This stage has a somewhat-annoying claw that will grab you and carry you back to where you started this stage from. You have more than enough time to get through this, though, so that claw is just there to keep you on your toes. It doesn't even seem to want to move at all once you get close to the exit door.
