Sometimes our fears are our greatest weakness, like here I was so scared of a potential boss room I almost threw away my salvation in the form of a bonfire. I will be going back and exploring.

I know for a fact I missed a path or two and I have to know what's there. The outer cathedral is still dangerous but moreso because you can somewhat easily be mobbed here in certain areas. Traps here are deadly efficient, I'm just lucky I got out the ways I did. They have nerfed leashing on quite a few enemies, but they still have their limits to exploit, you just have to find their distance.
