Catacombs of Carthus S16 Pt1 Let's Play Dark Souls 3
2Ok, so this is probably the hardest area in the game yet due to the traps and enemies. The traps range from your typical "rock" rolling down a passage to crush you, to arrows, to enemies ambushing you in the worst way. Only the skillful will get through this place effortlessly, which sure isn't me.
The hardest enemies in here for me are the shotel dual wielders, you can't block, they are very quick, and they dodge followed by kunai being thrown. One mis timed strike with an ultra greatsword can easily spell goodnight as some variants cause bleed further exacerbating the situation.
Oh and if they have white glowy eyes, they'll respawn once so don't forget about them and get hit in the back like I did. Presumably blessed weapons will keep them down but who goes to the effort for that right? (most people that want an easier time probably)
