Boogeyman is an indie horror game developed by Barry McCabe. The game is based on concepts introduced by Five Nights at Freddy's, such as the player being in a relatively stationary position whilst checking aspects of the room. In Boogeyman, you play as a boy named Thomas who has just moved into the new household with his family who, unfortunately, does not know about the dark past of the house. Thomas finds a cassette player with a tape left inside along with a flashlight. The key concepts of the game is to scare away the Boogeyman, who is trying to get to you, with a flashlight until dawn at 6:00 am. There are 7 nights included in the game. The latest update includes free-roaming in between nights, along with items to help you that you can collect around the home, which include a cup of coffee which grants the player temporarily night-vision
