Borderlands 2 (Part 1)
1Three game series at the same time? That is brand new for me! And... I'm not doing a Nintendo game or Sonic game? What has happened to me?!
All the same, welcome to my first non-Nintendo (or Nintendo-esque) playthrough series! Ever since I got my Hauppauge HD PVR 2, I've always been able to record PC games, but for a while I had no computer with an HDMI port. Once I got that early this year, I could record PC games. But for whatever reason, I never did. Dunno why, not like I never touched a PC game in all this time, but ahh well.
Since there is a new Borderlands game in the making, why not have a playthrough of Borderlands 2? Also since a friend of mine, Healthy Water there, tried the game over the free to play weekend, then eventually buying the Game of the Year edition while on sale, I figured why not play through the whole thing? We'll also be doing the four major DLC as well, so look forward to that!
We're going to be the kind of players who do ALL the quests, so get ready for that. I'll try to trim some stuff down to try to cut to the chase a little bit as well. Now and then, you might see other players join up, but it will always have at least myself and Healthy Water.
This episode is a bit longer than the norm due to how long the introduction was. Also, please pardon some minor framerate issues in future episodes as while the game still performs very well, some places will be more laggy than others. I hope it will be acceptable.
Lastly, Healthy Water has never played Borderlands before, so be good to him; Poor fool doesn't know the significance of being a hoarder or how influential badass ranks can be.
