Mission CHOPSUEY

Pyro Pete is the first main storyline boss of Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage. Pete's fire theme defines his armaments - he carries large dual flame throwers with him into battle, consisting of a fuel pack on his back and spray nozzles in each hand.

After being betrayed by Piston and dragged out of the Arena, the Vault Hunters are asked to find a new sponsor so they can continue participating in the Campaign of Carnage. Mr. Torgue hints that Pyro Pete kidnapped a sponsor (who was revealed to be Moxxi), spurring the Vault Hunters to head off to the rescue. After a fight in Pyro Pete's Bar, they then descend to a basement arena to face him in an attempt to reach the imprisoned sponsor and move up on the badass leader board.

Pyro Pete starts out as the #4 ranked badass on the leader board.
After the completion of the main story line, Pyro Pete can be resurrected for 8 Eridium as Pyro Pete the Invincible, a raid boss, and can drop Torgue tokens that can be used to buy guns at any Torgue vending machine.
