So, after chasing down those annoying couriers and their friends, we can now move onto the main storyline in which we have to shut down the forcefield that is blocking our way to the Eye. In case you were wondering and as the title hints at, we have to do yet another horde-based mission defending a power drain before we get to move on. The issue with this mission is that there really isn’t the best cover to hide behind as well as the fact the soldiers can deactivate the machine from two or three different angles. The worst part is that one of the shields that the enemies can deploy got stuck within in a wall (I’m assuming that the shield generator got stuck within the wall since, to this day, I can’t seem to see it anywhere on the map) so there was just an area that I couldn’t shoot at which, unfortunately for me, was also an area where a lot of the enemies spawned. I think I’ve died more in this one section of the game than I’ve done throughout the entire game because I just got swarmed by literally everything; they threw the kitchen sink, the neighborhood garbage truck and the moon at my face.
