Bosses: those big guys usually waiting for you at the end of a level or section of a game. They're the toughest opponents around, and to ensure you get the message on their level of threat, they typically tower over the player character(s).

However, this isn't always the case... there are a number of bosses who are quite the opposite and are actually less significant in sizes compared to the average, they're even smaller than than player character(s)!

But for whatever they lack in height, you should not underestimate them for a moment: there are probably many good reasons why they're in such a pivotal role, and you were understand why first-hand when the battle starts...

Tiny bosses are a rare breed, it's not very often such powerful beings don't even reach your knees. For this edition of Boss Analysis, I will be covering these microsphoic menaces in all their glory.

There are a couple of rules that I consider when deciding what counts as a small boss. Firstly, they need to either be smaller than the main character(s) or at least noitceably smaller than all the other bosses in the game. Also, their body needs to be consistently small throughout the battle, so a boss that losses body parts until they're tiny will not count.

Anyway, let's get going! And no matter what happens, don't feel too bad if you get beaten to a pulp by these guys...
