Bouncy Bullets 2 (Xbox Series X) (Xclusive Indie Playthrough - Part 1) Braving the Castle Ramparts
3My next Indie playthrough series will feature the game Bouncy Bullets 2! This game released on the Xbox One and Xbox Series family of consoles on October 7th, 2021. It was developed by Petite Games and published by Ratalaika Games.
In this video, I play through the first 22 levels.
Bouncy Bullets 2 is the sequel to the colorfully vibrant first-person shooter which tasks the player in traversing the game's wacky and strange levels filled with obstacles and blocky enemies. The player has to fight and platform their way through each level and make it to the portal at the end of every level as fast as possible. Falling off of the level or getting hit by the enemies or traps scattered throughout each level resets you all the way to the beginning of each level. There is really no story to this game and the gameplay here is fairly simple to learn, however, some levels can be a bit challenging as they are filled with eagle-eyed enemies and traps such as lasers that the player has to avoid at all costs. The platforming is probably the most challenging part of the game as the player will have to jump between platforms while also having to dodge the many different traps scattered across the levels along with dodging bullets from the enemies. This game is most certainly a big improvement over the 1st game as the controls are more tighter and the levels are more varied/innovative.
The game spans across 45 levels and each level is rarely more than 30 seconds in length. The player can move with the left stick, aim with the right stick, the A button to jump and the right/left triggers to shoot the purple/yellow bullets respectively. There are different colored enemies in the game and each needs to be shot by the same colored bullet so they can be killed (while the black enemies have to be killed with bouncy shots).
As far as the achievements are concerned: this is yet another really quick and easy achievement game as most of them are related to completing the regular levels, killing at least one of each of the enemies and completing at least one speedrun level. Obtaining all of the achievements shouldn't take more than 45 minutes in total so you're looking at another quick and easy achievement game.
