Br OS Linux Distro With An Impressive Range of Apps
22In This Video We Are Looking At The 24.10 version of Br OS , a Brazilian GNU/Linux distribution with Kubuntu and the KDE Plasma desktop environment, has been announced. It is stated that 24.10, which is known to be based on Ubuntu 24.10 codenamed “Oracular Oriole”, is the normal version of Br OS, while it is stated that it is aimed to introduce new technologies in the system, introduces KDE 6 and is a stable enough version to be used in a production environment. It is stated that support for Xorg from KDE 6 is limited, and that only the installed section will open automatically with Wayland. It is stated that this is an LTS version, so this means that it has 2 years of support. It is reminded that there is an improvement in the stability of the integration with ChatGPT, and that the possibility of integrating other artificial intelligences, preferably free of charge, is being worked on so that the user can choose which one to use. It is stated that Br OS continues to provide the minimum installation of Kubuntu. Br. The OS is said to have two web browsers, basic utilities, and security tools like VPN, file encryption software, and metadata scrubber.
