It is stated that many bugs have been fixed in order to provide the user with a better and more stable Pisi Linux, and that Pisi GNU/Linux 2.4 is ready after a long work. It is said that there is no desktop environment in this version, and that YALI will come at the start for installation. It is said that the installation can be done with YALI and then the desired desktop environment can be installed. In the meantime, it is reminding that the system can also be used as a server by loading the necessary servers. It is stated that the installation can now be done without a password at the start of Yalı, but if a command that requires the root password is run from the console, the password is live as before. It is reminding that the name of the 2.4 version of Pisi GNU/Linux, which determines its version names by taking inspiration from the cultural heritage of Anatolia, is “Karagül”, and Karagül is the endemic Karagül flower grown in the Halfeti district of Şanlıurfa . The new version, which comes with KDE Plasma 6, promises a more contemporary, rich and efficient desktop experience by combining it with the Wayland graphics platform and the Qt6 application framework. The minimal version of the version is also available.
