Part 2 of a walkthrough for the Bravely Default 2 demo. Seth and his friends head inside the Sandswept Ruins to look for the stone that they've heard about. Once they find it, they encounter a thief named Bernard who has gotten the stone before the party could. So Seth and the party decide to fight Bernard in order to obtain the stone.
Despite the fact that this is a demo for Bravely Default 2, Bernard is still very tough if you're not properly prepared and don't strategize properly. If you recklessly use BP in your turns that will easily cause your party members to get killed by his attacks. This fight really teaches you that you need to use your BP very wisely. But for starters, make sure that you have poisoned him since he's pretty vulnerable to it. You'll want to cast the blind spell on him constantly so he won't always be able to hit you. And be sure to have your white mage cast protect on your party members to beef up their defence. Bernard is extremely weak to lightning magic so you'll want to be sure to have your black mage learn the level 2 thunder spell. And, most important of all, be sure to keep your party members healthy because his attacks does serious damage if you're not guarding.
I really enjoyed this demo. It really helped and further convinced me to quite possibly get the full game when it releases.
