Today Square Enix released several new trailers of the forthcoming mobile JRPG “Brunkly” Default Lights.
The trailers introduce well-known characters from Bravely Default II that will appear in Brilliant Lights.
We meet Seth, Gloria Neu Musa, Adelle Ein, and Elvis Lesley. The new trailers follow the previous batch showing Tiz Arriorm, Agnes Oblige, Edea Lee, and Ringabel from the original Bravely Default.
Not only do we get a brief introduction of any character, but we also see actual gameplay, giving an idea of how it will work, i.e. the iconic Brave & Default system, which fits touch controls.

An upgraded version of the Bravely Default Brilliant Lights has been announced back in July for iOS and Android. A western release isn’t yet made known, but the game has no date for Japan, yet. There are already local pre-registrations.
Of course the game will have an optional microtransaction business model.
Incidentally, Default Brilliant Lights is Square Enixs way of celebrating the 10th anniversary of the original game, which went live on October 11th 2013. We learned in the past month that the series has been able to deliver over 3 million cumulative goods.
