Bravely Default II (Demo) - 13 - (Post-Game) Optional Boss: Wood Golem

Fighting the somewhat hidden bonus boss Wood Golem, located northeast of Savalon as a brown bush in the overworld.
Key Notes:
Boss: Wood Golem - HP: 72,000
Weaknesses: Fire, Swords, Axes
Carries to Steal: Scimitar
May Drop: Scimitar, Stalwart Seed (can be found around the grassy field around it)
- First off, this thing is ever harder than the Sandworm. A direct Stonega hit can KO an un-Defaulted target. It can also extend the range to hit all party members, though thankfully it's not strong enough to KO everyone.
- Its exclusive attack Force of Nature doesn't KO a target, but it does lower physical offense and defensive stats (which aren't that important since it's already too sturdy and hits too hard as is).
- Use the same strategy you used with the Sandworm. Black Mages shine brighter if you can constantly debuff the golem and buff up your mages. Using the Thief's Brave Robber can be extremely good, as it lowers the chance the thing can screw you. Pack a lot of Ethers, though.
- Again, I could have brought a second Black Mage to ease things a whole lot more (replace my Thief for it but still keep Thievery as a sub-job), but I didn't want to cheese the fight since it's entirely possible to avoid damage altogether and end the fight...9 minutes earlier than my approach.
- Beating the Wood Golem pretty much means you have seen everything there is to do in the demo.
