Do you remember me mentioning a "secret project" in some of my Let's Play videos? Well, if you guessed one last Brawl Machinima attempt, then you guessed right!

"Brawl X" is mostly a mix of what "New Smash Bros Zero" was going to be, but better than what "New SBZ" had presented. I still kept the hack usage as simple as I preferred, but tried to make the story and characters as entertaining as best I could. And I decided to use text for dialogue over voice acting, like I did with "SSBB RPG: Fire Within Shadow", so that I A) I don't have to wait on voice actors to turn in lines, so I can B) work on the episodes a bit faster than before. So, I guess you could say that it was a combination of what "New SBZ", "Fire Within Shadow", and maybe even what the original "Smash Bros Zero" would've been like if done right.

The initial plan was to make every episode first, then upload them weekly every Sunday, so I can work on it without being discouraged in any way, kinda like what happened with "New SBZ". This chapter and Chapter 2 were the only episodes completed, however, with Chapter 1 being the only one that got exported into video format. And since my old Wii with the hacks couldn't read game discs anymore, that put production to a screeching halt. Now, I do have another Wii that works fine, but it doesn't have the hacks or GameCube support, which complicated things even further. So, at that point, I had decided to close up shop in the Machinima stand front. I did not and still have no intentions of installing the hacks onto the other Wii, so there would be no point in suggesting that option.

Now, I am not planning on stopping doing anything Machinima related entirely. There will still be some old-fashioned Machinimation in my sprite series, "Nothin' Makes Sense", and occasionally a short film every once in a while. But, as for full-length, story driven Machinima projects, don't expect anymore of those from me. WhiteBladeZero is a full-time Machinimator no longer.

Now, if you've made it this far, I'll bet you're wondering, "Why tell us this in the description when you could've made a video about it? That would make it much easier, you dummy!" Well, for those who did not go to my DeviantArt page and read my journal about it back in August, here is what it said:

THAT is your answer! I have no means of making any new videos right now. I am hoping, seriously hoping, that I can get a new video editing program for the holidays coming up. ...That, and a Wii U... If I don't post a brand new video by New Year's, then I probably won't until who knows when. So, here's hoping that I do get a new one soon! But, even if I don't, I'm still usually active on DeviantArt if you still want to keep in touch with what I'm up to.
