Breaking Down the Banter in Star Trek: Resurgence

In this intense chapter of Star Trek: Resurgence, the stakes are higher than ever. Diaz, Edsilar, and Arminta (the Alydian) continue their desperate efforts to sabotage the Alydian vessel, working quietly to ensure its destruction.
Under the direction of Jara and the increasingly unstable Captain Solano, the Resolute travels to meet the only living Tkon associate known on record—'Portal Six Three.' A mysterious figure introduced in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Portal Six Three is a guardian of the ancient Tkon Empire, and the crew hopes his knowledge will help them understand and combat the growing Tkon influence. After a tense back-and-forth with Jara, Portal Six Three agrees to assist and directs the Resolute to a distant location where the original Alydian vessel and the lost away team are headed.
However, things quickly take a darker turn when Captain Solano’s irrational behavior escalates. It is soon revealed that Solano has fallen under the influence of the Tkon corruption, making him a Tkon agent. As tensions rise, a mutiny is staged with the help of the Resolute's bridge crew. In a dramatic shift of power, Jara takes command of the ship, ready to face the looming threat head-on.
The Resolute arrives at a distant nebula, only to find a fierce firefight erupting above another Tkon archive. One ship manages to escape, while the other, containing the original lost away team, is destroyed. In the chaos, the crew of the Resolute recovers Diaz, Edsilar, and Arminta (an Alydian commander) from the crippled Alydian vessel, which is promptly destroyed in a calculated move by the Resolute.
The ship that escaped returns to a Tkon vessel known as the 'Aphelion.' The crew soon realizes that the plan is even more dangerous than they imagined—the Aphelion is poised to use its advanced technology to mass convert the entire galaxy’s population, corrupting them under the influence of the Tkon.
With everything on the line, the crew of the Resolute is faced with an impossible choice. The final showdown is fast approaching, and the future of the galaxy hangs in the balance. All bets are off as we prepare for the likely conclusion of the game in the next stream—don’t miss the action as the fate of the universe is decided!
