I spent an entire week playing Driving Is Hard on stream, all at the request of chat, and honestly? I had an absolute blast! The game sits in a weird sweet spot between Get To Work and Only Up!, offering a unique and challenging experience that keeps you on your toes… but also, sometimes, on your nerves. While the game is hilarious and frustrating in all the right ways, it does fall into that uncomfortable space where replaying sections too many times can make it hard to keep the fun going for long on stream.
I’ve had some good moments, but let’s be real – there’s only so many times you can go back to the same section before it feels a bit repetitive. I’m planning to play a bit off-stream, and honestly, if I don’t make it to the finish, I won’t feel too bad about it. But it’s not all doom and gloom – a developer has popped into chat a few times, and through our discussions, it seems like changes are coming, so that’s exciting!
