Breath of Fire II Retranslation Part 3: Bunyan
7Formerly known as Baba. I actually think the original translation is kinda cool and fits him fine but oh well.
Ryu has the best town shop equipment (I didn't fish for Maniro's gear because that would be an overkill, even for a perfect game) and can survive Bunyan's blows without much trouble. Both Ryu and Bunyan can counter attack, so healing is a must, but the battle is over quickly because I get some lucky counters as well.
Tagzi Woods aren't the safest place to solo, especially when you encounter any of the formations with the Grizzly Bear. I used Healing Herbs to heal most of the time, as Guts is too risky.
