Before this mission, we hire Penelo who is a must-have in this challenge. With Cura and Halve MP, she's the by far the best healer and the only decent support character we get. However, with Dancer stats her magic isn't that spectacular and Cura won't heal much. At least the Dancer skillset is nice, with a doubleshot-like skill and a long-ranged attack. I don't normally opt for Penelo but in this challenge you'd be a fool to dismiss her availability.

Then there's Vaan, to get whom the recorded mission was done. Vaan has Sticky Fingers which means we have access to some amazing weapons. That would break the challenge, huh? That's what I thought, and made a change in the challenge's rules to ban the use of this ability.

That makes Vaan pretty useless, we don't need another Blue Mage with bad stats. The good thing about him is the equipment set he comes with. Since we can't shop for any good stuff and loot has no use, arranging Vaan's stuff among our party is very effective.

The video shows, among other things, why Chocobo Knights are bad endgame. You don't want to them to die, or else you'll have to catch another one yet again. They're fragile too, and always targeted by enemies. No good.

Another thing worthy of note is that Penelo comes with Orichalcum, which teaches moogles Smile. The final battles may have been greatly complicated my life if I had no access to Smile.
