The Plot

Revisit the Egyptian pyramids to go treasure hunting in the newly uncovered secret passage.
With the help of 7 eyes brought back to life by the Pharoahs, you have to find your way through the deepest tombs to complete your collection of antique plaques.


Goal Of Every Level

Smash all stones and blocks, pick up falling treasures and keep the ball in play.
Use your mouse to control the bat and slide it sideways. As you hit the ball, it gets a certain angle depending on what part of the bat it hits.
Mastering this technique may take a while, but once you are in total control your treasure collection adventure gets even more exciting.


The Level Pack Screen

Bricks of Egypt 2: Tears of The Pharaohs contains a total of 9 level packs.

Enjoy the New Grounds, Burning Chamber, Golden Grave and Tears of Love level packs, which all contain 8 levels each.

Then extend your journey and play the Traps & Bombs, Glyphs on Fire, Halls of Acid and Chaos Chambers level packs, which all contain 16 levels each.

After completing all level packs mentioned above, you unlock the final Bonus Pack which contains 24 levels.

Each level pack and difficulty setting has it's own high score table, so that the whole family can enjoy the game at their preferred difficulty setting.
Hint: See wheter you can beat your old high scores once you have played through the game.


Scores

Hit a block while playing with a large bat - 10 points
Hit a block while playing with a medium bat - 20 points
Hit a block while playing with a small bat - 30 points
Hit an eye - 25 points
Destroy an eye - 150 points
Pick up a gem - 250 points
Pick up a pot - 500 points
Pick up a hieroglyph - 1000 points
Pick up a tear of gold (coin) - 50 points
Pick up a tear of love (heart) - 100 points
Pick up any other tear - no points
Put out a block of fire - 1-3 points depending on bat size
Hit a block of mud - 1 point


Game Difficulty

Every level pack can be played at easy, medium or hard difficulty setting.

Easy - Start with 7 extra bats. Poison item rarely appears, low ball speed
Medium - Start with 4 extra bats, normal ball speed
Hard - Start with 3 extra bats, fast ball speed

Expand bat - Makes bat larger
Shrink bat - Makes bat smaller
Sticky bat - Ball sticks to the bat until you click left mouse button, wears off after 10 clicks
Multi ball - 3 new balls enters the screen
Speed Up - Faster ball
Slow Down - Slower ball
Water - A blast of waterdrops from above
Poison - Pharaoh's Curse! Picking up this item will destroy the bat
Guns - Gives the bat side cannons
Fire Balls - A blast of fireballs from above
Richochet - A "one-timer" that can smash blocks just like a regular ball, but disappears after one bounce


The Seven Eyes

There are seven types of eyes in the game, each with its own unique color and characteristics.
Some of these eyes may warp themselves into new places from time to time, in some cases to confuse the player (such as the black eye) and in some cases to put themselves in a place where they can better perform their actions.

Holy Water - The cyan eye will shred its tears when passing by blocks of fire, defeating one block per tear drop.

Acid - The green eye will shred green tears that corrodes all kinds of blocks, including the striped ones not breakable by the ball.

Destruction - The brown eye drops fireballs that will crush any block that is breakable by the regular ball.

Love - The red eye will drop hearts that can be picked up with the bat to earn 100 instant points. On top of that, the bat will be under a love spell, making your score raise gradually for a short while.

Gold - The yellow eye will drop a series of coins worth 50 points each.

Vengeance - The purple eye will shoot purple bolts all over the place, which will help you finish the current level faster.

Posion - The black eye will shred poisonous drops that will shrink the bat if picked up. If the bat already is at its smallest, it will terminate instead. Luckily, the black eye can be destroyed by striking it 1 - 2 times with the ball or shooting it with your cannons.


My Plaques

This room contains 3 big plaques, one for each difficulty setting, and is accessible from the screen where you select what level pack to play.
Each plaque is divided into 9 smaller pieces. The pieces are found at the end of each level pack.

In order to fill all plaques, you will have to complete all 9 level packs at all 3 difficulty setitngs!
