Brightburn twists the Superman story in a disturbing way | Classics Revisited
6I was drawn to the concept of Brightburn in a very compelling way, so I was excited to see it in theaters. It was creepy, terrifying, and unsettling in a lot of ways. The twist on the Superman origin story flies right in the face of a famous and much loved tale, and makes it a frightening countdown to the moment we ask what we would do if Superman were a murderous, psychopathic bully. I'm looking forward to watching it again, several years later.
