Bring Large Eggs to Any Stage in Yoshi's Island - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
40,324In this episode of A Wild Glitch Appears, we find out how to bring the BIG EGG to other levels of the Yoshi's Island.
In Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island for the SNES, there are some very large shy guys that can be found in level 2-7 Lakitu's Wall.
Eating the large shy guys will allow Yoshi to produce a large egg, which has special properties and stuff, and doesn't behave like a normal egg.
Typically throwing a large egg will cause an earthquake effect that turns all enemies on the screen into stars.
However, completing the level will cause any large eggs Yoshi is carrying to turn into coins, which are collected immediately. Therefore, you cannot transfer the large eggs to the next Yoshi like you can with normal eggs, meaning the large eggs are pretty much exclusive to stage 2-7.
However, if you stand at the rightmost boundary of the level just past the end-of-stage ring, you can jump and throw a large egg upward, then hit it with your tongue. This can cause the large egg to land harmlessly on the ground. Now, jump through the end ring and finish the stage. If you've performed the trick properly, the next Yoshi who comes to pick up Baby Mario will also grab the large egg, and now you can take the egg to other levels (especially if you've already completed the game).
When you take the large egg to certain levels, it will appear to glitch out with some weird sprites. Also, throwing a large egg at a Talking Box will cause the game to freak out a little. These large eggs can have some fun effects on other levels, so give it a try!
