The Correct Way to Play Family Feud (SNES) - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
51,502In this episode of A Wild Glitch Appears, we take a look at a phenomenal exploit in Family Feud for the SNES. This weird exploit is what makes Family Feud on SNES one of my favorite games of all time and I'm not even kidding.
In Family Feud on the Super Nintendo, the game has a strange way of accepting correct answers that I can only really explain through examples.
When you type in a response, the game really only checks that your answer has the correct letters in sequential order, but not necessarily consecutive order. For example, I answered the following question:
Tell me something specific you have lost more than once.
My answer was "KEYS" which was correct, and I was awarded $4000.
However, the game also accepts any answer that has a K, an E, a Y, and an S in that order, even if they are separated by other characters. So I could have written something like "XKXXXEXXYXXXS" and the game still would have awarded me the $4000.
So that means you can get really creative with your answers. Typing something like "KEVIN SPACEY SMELLS" contains the correct letters in the correct order to answer that specific question, so I win the $4000 question for insulting a famous actor.
This exploit works in the Fast Money Round as well as the ummm other rounds I forgot what they were called.
You can also do similar stuff in the SNES version of Jeopardy! because both games were made by the same company.
