Brussels Zoo - A Planet Zoo Story Ep. 2 - For All To See
In this new Planet Zoo series, I will tell the story of a fictional zoo located in Brussels (Belgium) throughout its history. In the process, I'll try to make it both educational and cinematic. In this second chapter, we see the origins of the fictional Brussels Zoo during the World's Fair in 1897.

Historical background:
In 1897, the World's Fair was organized in Brussels Belgium. The main venue was located in the Centenaire Park in the Belgian capital. In Tervuren, outside of Brussels, King Leopold II held his own exposition, showcasing his colonial venture in the Congo Free State. In our timeline, a museum was built housing taxidermized animals from the Congo, and several copies of African villages were made as 'human zoos' to showcase the indigenous people of Congo. In the timeline of this narrative series, the park at Tervuren is also transformed into a zoo to showcase live animals from Congo and elsewhere.
