Rock star Bryan Adams has turned photographer to document the injuries of wounded British service personnel.

The singer says he wants to challenge the viewer and a book of his pictures has gone on sale to raise money for forces charities.

The project took five years to complete and 40 personnel posed for the intimate portraits.
