Quick and easy way to allocate a few cores to dedicate themselves to encoding while the rest can be used for gaming(Limit obs to only use x amount of cores). I am using a cheap AMD Ryzen 5 3500X and it is working wonderfully for me. 2 cores out of the 6(Hexacore CPU) seems plenty enough to do decent quality encoding tasks.
I'm also running EndeavourOS on the 6.0.9-arch-1 Kernel.
The rest of the relevant system specs:
AMD RX 580 8GB (Powercolor Red Devil - Silent BIOS)
16GB DDR4 3000MHz RAM (Corsair)
