This is the 26th epsisode and the 28th day of survival for Jack Genx (yes we skipped a couple of days because I forgot to hit the record button), a DIY Guy From Echo Creek trying to survive the zombie apocalypse in Echo Creek.
In this video (and Series) I offer unedited/uncut gameplay of vanilla build 42 unstable Project Zomboid with hopefully informative commentary. I'm not doing any crazy challenges, my goal is not to kill as many zombies as possible in as little time as possible, my goal is to stay alive as long as possible while having fun exploring new areas and learning about new features added in build 42.
Mostly my sandbox settings are base apocalypse settings with a few tweaks to suit a playstyle that I enjoy, which may not be everybody's playstyle. But hey, you play the the game the way that's the most fun for you.
While my initial goals will be simply surviving for first few weeks of survival, I enjoy the base building aspects of the game more than I enjoy non stop killing zombies and so the series will evolve into those areas after the initial survival period.
With 2.4k hours clocked in build 41 before the unstable release of build 42, I try to provide helpful tips and information from my experience along the way, though I am in no way a master of the game. Comments and questions are welcome. I may not have all the answers, some of my information could be complete guesswork and depending on when you are watching this video, could be outdated as the game evolves with future updates.
