Build the Millennium Falcon - Issue 39 - How to correctly assemble your ramp actuators!
74In this episode of Build the Millennium Falcon, I show you exactly how to correctly assemble the actuators on the ramp assembly so that they will never fall apart! Don't forget to paint all of the parts first!
This is my series for the "Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon" model kit subscription, by DeAgostini. How it works is this. Externally, this official Millennium Falcon model is a 1:1 replica of the original filming prop used in The Empire Strikes Back. At 32 inches long and almost two feet wide, this model will be massive when compete! Did I mention it will weight 24 pounds when finished??? The coolest, and maybe worst, part is that it will take over two YEARS to assemble!! That is both cool and insane, all at the same time!! It will have a few moving parts, including a servo controlled entry ramp, working lights for the cockpit, engines and flood lights and I'll even receive a wall mount as part of the subscription too!
Each week, I'll be adding a new video for each issue of the build, plus I'll probably do a few more videos here and there for when I do extra tasks not required by the kit, like extra painting, weathering or additional customization.
