4Eden Crafters released update 0.6 which added locomotives! These can be used to transport a large quantity of resources to another location fast, or yourself if you don't fancy flying the space ship.
Today I thought it would be a fun idea to make a large train track and suspend it over the void, connecting 2 floating islands. It actually worked better than expected.
