Bunder The Influence - Wave Break (Closed Alpha - Time Trial Mode)
0First things first, this game looks goooood, even on lower general settings. Apparently there are more in the pause menu to get more granular and optimized for your system, but I didn't think to pause at any point. Anyway, Wave Break freely admits being inspired by the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series, and it definitely shows in the main gameplay, though you also get a gun. So much good stuff here, from the customization options (which I'm pretty sure are randomized for the time being, but big ups to pixelated junk as an "outfit") to the trick options to the simplicity of things once you figure out the controls. Hell, I didn't spend nearly enough time with THPS or similar games and I eventually got things down.
You can get in on the alpha tests and discussion yourself at Funktronic's Discord; they're all limited-time sessions but it's as easy as dropping a command in the key request room and popping that into Steam. Hoping to see more modes as the tests progress, and I can't wait for the full version.
Also, I admit I wasn't bevving this time around, but in the future? Heck yeah.
