This series of videos showcases all of the cutscenes, including the different outcomes whether the support character lives or dies and if you decide to kill the last descendant or not. This was done in multiple playthroughs.

Hongou is one of the many unlockable characters. You unlock him by completing story mode with Isohachi or Jo if you keep him alive. Hongou was originally a secret boss for Tatsumi and Black Lotus in the first Bushido Blade. He returns as a member of Shainto. He went from a being mysterious cool guy into Shainto's powerhouse. He's effective with any weapon. (Pro tip: Jo is not good with the broadsword!)

Hongou is one of Shainto's most loyal members. During his quest, he also wants to settle the score with Tatsumi after their previous encounter.
