Busting Myths: Planned Obsolescence in GPUs? Does AMD Age Better?
309In this video, I'm not simply comparing the RX 5700 and the RTX 2060. I'm looking for something deeper: to debunk two of the most repeated myths in the PC gaming community.
1️ ⃣ Is there planned obsolescence on the part of AMD or Nvidia through drivers?
2️ ⃣ Is it true that AMD graphics cards improve more over time than Nvidia's?
To answer this question, I tested each card with its first official release driver and then with the latest driver in a dozen games. The result? Both GPUs improved, and contrary to what many say, Nvidia even improved slightly more than AMD.
This video isn't about who has the highest FPS, but rather about seeking the truth. Busting myths with real data!
