BZCC Total Command Mod Gameplay - Mission RB06: Clear the Path
Back on Titan, the CCA succeeded in securing their Fury Research Base, but the development of a Soviet Fury will take some time. In the meantime, they'll havge to fight the Americans with their currently available arsenal. Intelligence found out that the Black Dogs HQ is located at the opposite end of a canyon which is heavily fortified with Blast Towers, Mine Fields and deployed Artillery. It is up to Commander Doyestevski to clear a path through the enemy defenses and reduce the Black Dogs HQ to scrap. Looks too straightforward to be such a decisive operation...
"Are you sure that the Black Dogs don't have one or two surprises in store for us, Comrade?".
This mission in the original game can be easily speedrun in two minutes or so. This version clearly ironed out the cheesy way to beat it and added some scripted events that raise its difficulty very steeply, but they also make it much more exciting to play. I liked it, although I would be lying if I told you that I didn't get scared when I was ordered to redeploy Recycler Grozny on the canyon's exit. Fortunately, I had enough Tanks to support the maneuver, but still...
