C64 Longplay: Aurora
Made by Luciano Morpungo using SEUCK and released in 1989 by Systems Editoriale s.r.l./Commodore 64 Club. This reminds me of that Star Trek episode The Tholian Web with the main ship-design, other ships later try and catch you in their deadly glowing webs.

English translation:
“The Special Legion for Peripheral Control has finally arrived at the primary goal of the most important military campaign in the history of mankind. The Farvon invasion is about to end in a colossal victory for humanity or a great defeat that would bring humankind to the brink of probable extinction.
The Farvons are developing in the Aurora forest, on a planet located at the edge of the third upper galactic arm, a weapon that will allow the invasion troops to conveniently eliminate the now scarce human defenses.
However, the intergalactic espionage system has detected a serious error on the part of the enemy that it must use the entire invasion fleet to generate a sufficient amount of energy to emit the deadly beam that will destroy all human life in the galaxy, with the exception perhaps of the little ones, peripheral systems that do not however represent a danger to an invasion of such high proportions. The Farvon fleet will remain inactive for a relatively short time, however, sufficient for the "legion" to carry out a desperate attempt at sabotage, which would lead to the immediate destruction of the entire Farvon fleet.
The energy beam station is located in the Aurora forest and is defended by a series of energy shields against attacks from the sky and from an unspecified number of ground combat units from the best Farvon invasion troops. The "legion" will move aboard ultra-modern combat vehicles and will have to overcome all ground defenses to reach the conveyor station which will have to be destroyed.”
