CABAL ZX SPECTRUM (UNSEEN 2007 REVIEW VIDEO!)
As a special thanks to all my supporters, subscribers, friends, countrymen (and women) and those who have taken the time to watch my videos and comment, like etc, here's an original Inept Review from 2007 - the year it all began. This is Cabal, a fun shoot'em up for the ZX Spectrum coded by the ever awesome Jim Bagley. For whatever reason, this review never made the original cut, but it was often the case I'd review a few dozen games in a short series of recording sessions, then upload them throughout the year. I also lost dozens of videos in a series of unfortunate hard drive crashes and failures. Many of what I'd say were "classic Inept Review content" are forever gone. But this one, and a few others aren't.
I hope you like this video. It took a bit of editing to make it work for modern editing software. The original 11khz mono sound had to be converted to 44khz 16bit stereo for example!
The music at the beginning is the awesome "Robocop" remaster by Allister Brimble. You can buy and download this tune, and several other awesome classic remastered computer tunes from his bandcamp page: https://allisterbrimble.bandcamp.com/
Cheers all and again, thanks for all your support over the years. Lots more content to come and please comment if there's anything you want to ask or request.
Adios!
