I quite like these slightly less dense and compressed levels. When a level is just sparse and breeze, it gives that moment of rest and reflection, the kind you need to really get going for the action packed ones.
It's why Hell Revealed 2 was so shit and a grind instead of enjoyable. It never had any respite other than the areas you cleared and even those were usually teleported full of dudes.
