Not only my first non-Silver of the season, it is my first Platinum!
I had an advantage going into this game, it seems. Nobody else participating had really touched this game before.
I have, though. I played several hours of Worms Blast when I got the cart because I really like the Worms Collection!
The only "hard" part of this challenge was staying focused; it honestly got boring playing the same mode for so long.
(At least the challenge runner said savetstates were allowed for taking breaks; there would be no way I could do this whole thing in one sitting).
So, after the 50 match wins, I proposed a deal with the other competitors: we all stop at 50 and share the Platinum. Someone took me up on that offer, and we both got it! :D
(It is worth noting that they submitted a few minutes after the challenge officially ended, and the challenge runner left it up to me if I wanted to share the Platinum. I said yes. :D)
Next week is Data East Arcade 1! That cart is really solid - let's hope it isn't the one game I hate... :P)
