Calcuzap "tool-assisted" run (version 1042 by Patrick Davidson for TI-84 Plus CE and CSE)
13New website URL! https://djomnimaga.music-2000.com This was a test I did in CEmu to attempt playing through the entire game called Calcuzap, by Patrick Davidson for the TI-84 Plus CE, using slowdowns. The game can be downloaded at http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/464/46446.html (or http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/464/46480.html if you have a TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition) No frame by frame nor savestates were used, which is why it's not a perfect run, but it gets quite cool and crazy at times, especially with those mini-ships so it's incredible that the game author could achieve such frame rate with this much stuff going on at once on the screen. My real highscore is 3015 in hard mode at max speed. There's also a discussion topic on CodeWalrus at https://codewalr.us/1454 .
The game is very reminiscent of those old NES, arcade or Atari 2600 space shoot-em-ups and is very inspired from Galaxian, Phoenix, Galaga and Space Invaders.
