4Call of Cthulhu Chapter 2 brings us to Darkwater Port. An old fishing village where whaling is now a forgotten past time and alcohol is prohibited. It all started with this event known as The Miraculous Catch. Due to overfishing In the late 1800s, Darkwater Port faced starvation and the island was on the brink of collapse. That is until one day, a group of sailors brought back a gigantic whale which covered the entire deck of the ship. It is said that the meat of the Miraculous Catch and the oil harvested from its body nourished the island for many years and still does to this day. But there is one question I have to ask, doesn't all whale meat go bad at some point?
