A video of a COD4 multiplayer map running on an AMD FX 8350 + AMD R9 390. As you can see from the cpu core usages, COD4 uses 1 core quite heavily. Therefore a bottleneck is occurring due to the lack of a multi-threaded code for the game. However, this is understandable since COD4 came out in 2007. 2007 was a time where multithreaded code was a 2nd thought, or wasn't even a thought, to game developers. So, if you wanna play call of duty 4 with an fx 8350 @4.4ghz + an r9 390 - you will be limited by the CPU. One last thing before I end this description, COD4's default fov of 65 sucks ass. Well, this is ozone9, saying goodbye! Thanks for watching!
