2Briggs and the Secretary of Defense on the USS Barack Obama discuss that SDC is finished and that China and America working together marks the beginning of a new era. Menendez is brought before them and Briggs orders him brought to an interrogation room, where Menendez says that he will only speak to Section. Section enters the room to interrogate Menedez, it is during this time that Menendez's forces attack the Obama. Menendez somehow breaks free and takes Salazar hostage, Section drops his weapon and is knocked out by Menendez, who then escapes. Salazar wakes up Section and they rearm before they help the Obama crews fight off Menendez's men, Section tells Salazar to go to the server room to secure Briggs, whil he with radio support from Harper fight through Menedez's men, then he helps a SEAL team fight their way through the flight deck before fighting to the monitor room to locate Menendez. He orders a team to cut through a vent to get to the server room. They discover that Menendez is right outside the server room and will enter the room when Briggs shuts down the security. Section tries to warn them but Briggs cannot hear a word.
Menendez's POV: Menendez and one of his mercenaries wait outside the server room and enter when Admiral Briggs shuts off the security system. Menendez takes Briggs hostage and orders his men to back off, which they do. Briggs orders Salazar to shoot through him and kill Menendez. But Salazar turns out to be Menendez's inside man, he kills the 2 soldiers in front of him and then executes Chloe with a shot to the head. Briggs is angered by Salazar's betrayal. Salazar tells him he will surrender when it's done, but Briggs would rather see him die than surrender. Salazar doesn't blame him, he asks Menendez not to kill Briggs, but only wound him. Menendez doesn't shoot and Briggs charges him, only to be knocked out by Salazar, Menendez tells Salazar that if they succeed then Briggs will understand why he didn't kill him. He then uploads the virus into the Obama's system, using them to reprogram the Obama's drones to execute his attack. He then escapes the Obama.
Back to Section's POV: Section witnesses Salazar's betrayal on the security cameras. He then orders Harper to get to the server room, he enters the vents and informs everyone of Salazar's betrayal before entering the server room, he then orders the technical staff to try and bring the defenses back online since Briggs is dead. Harper then shows up wondering what happened. Section tells Harper of Salazar's betrayal, Harper is in disbelief. They make their way to the lower levels, SEALs contact Section telling him that Salazar surrendered without a fight, Section confronts Salazar over his betrayal. He tells Section: "Today is a difficult day, but tommorrow, we all win." to which Harper replies: "Not you." and executes Salazar with a shot to the head for his betrayal. Section and Harper make their way to the top of the ship fighting Menedez's forces, they then activate a CLAW unit codenamed: "Dante Tiberius" to help them fight their way to a VTOL piloted by Crosby. They enter and Crosby takes off but is shot in the arm by a clinging mercenary, who is killed by Harper. They then leave the ship as it is destroyed by Menendez's drones, China's drone fleet arrives too late to save the Obama.
