Still working for most people!
50.0.0.0.0 is the the current version. That is what you will see after the latest large patch file is downloaded and installed. Once you open the game a smaller "hotfix" will also be downloaded. The hotfix will have small updates that werent enough to warrant a whole new patch. After Bo3 updates your version number will be slightly higher than 50.0.0.0.0. Recently there are 2 ways to update the hotfix. 1. Is to log in like normal and it should say "updating files" sometimes this doesn't work so we have option 2. Option 2 is after you launch the game don't press anything. Simply wait at the title screen and it should update on it's own. If it still isn't updating others have had success with restarting their console and restarting their internet. PC Users had success when they disabled firewall and antivirus. Or by connecting through wifi or a mobile hotspot. Hope that helps.

Update November 29th:
After you close the app and restart it it will reset to version 37.0.0.0. After that you can wait and it will update to the newest version.

UPDATE Nov 14th, 2015:
This fix is still working. However, sometimes you may need to try and play online again after you get the error. Sometimes that will cause the game download an update. After that you usually need to close the application and restart it. That will reset your version back to 3.0.0.0. Then if you wait at the main menu it will update properly! Your game will no longer update to version 33.1.91 thats okay! 33.1.91. was the most up to date version at the time this video was posted. The game will update to whatever is the current version which will be a higher number than 33.1.91. Hope that helps happy gaming!

How to fix the Can't connect to Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 error for ps4 and Xbox1.
All you need to do is go to the black ops 3 main menu and wait for it to update. Before the update in the upper right corner you will see it says 33.0.0.0 after the update is should say 33.1.91 for ps4. I believe on xbox it should say 33.1.9
