this is probably one of the most interesting games i have reviewed, this was mainly because my opinion of it changed so drasticly over time. inititally when i started playing it was "wow this is great" then it decended to "they are trying really hard to be CoD4" and then to "why am u playing this" and then back up to "wow this is great".

after my first play through i figured i was going to give the game maybe a 5 or a 6, but then i realised, there wasnt anything actually wrong with it, it was just VERY similar to CoD4, i had this distinct feeling of "ive done this all before" and that was especially noticable in multiplayer.

however after letting that go and letting myself just PLAY the damn game, i realised something.... i was having a HELL of a good time!

despite the step back in time and some unfortunate paceing here and there, the game is the same quality fun as CoD4. its not necessarily trying to do anything new but its damn good at what it does.

the next review is going to be Left 4 Dead expect that on the 23rd-24th of November. (however if they decide to release it on steam first for what ever reason then ill review gears of war 2 before then)
