Episode 6: The Dalton Brothers
- They Call Me Bounty Hunter
Dwight started the topic and asked Silas Greaves about his part in taking down the Daltons. Ben cut in the conversation, saying that he was among the vigilantes who took up arms and witnessed the demise of the brothers. In his simplified version, all Daltons were killed on spot in the bank.
Dwight did not agree, and recounted what he read in his Dime Novel, in which Silas was portrayed as a hero: it was high noon, in a posse set up by U.S. marshals, the Daltons were besieged from the building opposite of the bank. To break the stalemate, Silas singlehandedly inflitrated the bank through the rooftop by jumping from a water tower. In the end, all Daltons and their henchmen were eliminated and Silas ended up victorious.
But this version was not approved by Silas himself. According to Silas, the actual battle took place in early evening, and the Daltons were in fact successful in robbing the bank as the U.S. marshals were so very incompetent. They were on their way to escape. Silas chased them and defeated gangsters who were relatives of Daltons. As a last resort, the Daltons used a rolling trap but failed, although it indeed delayed Silas and allowed two Daltons, Bob and Grat, to escape. The youngest of Daltons, Emmett, stayed behind to cover the back, was shot 23 times but survived.

Dwight memulai topik pembicaraan dan bertanya kepada Silas Greaves tentang perannya dalam mengalahkan keluarga Dalton. Ben memotong pembicaraan, mengatakan bahwa dia termasuk di antara para vigilante yang mengangkat senjata dan menyaksikan kematian kedua bersaudara itu. Namun versi ini tidak disetujui oleh Silas sendiri. Menurut Silas, pertempuran yang sebenarnya terjadi pada sore hari, dan keluarga Daltons sebenarnya berhasil merampok bank karena marsekal AS sangat tidak kompeten. Mereka sedang dalam perjalanan untuk melarikan diri. Silas mengejar mereka dan mengalahkan para gangster yang merupakan kerabat keluarga Daltons. Sebagai upaya terakhir, keluarga Daltons menggunakan jebakan berguling namun gagal, meskipun hal itu memang menunda Silas dan memungkinkan dua anggota keluarga Daltons, Bob dan Grat, untuk melarikan diri. Anak bungsu keluarga Daltons, Emmett, yang tinggal di belakang untuk melindungi bagian belakang, ditembak sebanyak 23 kali namun selamat.
