Call of Juarez: Reversed elevation HRTF with DirectSound3D API
You just can't win. Previously, I reported that OpenAL mode had reversed front and rear channels with HRTF. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63LTnsG69uk) However, in a new find, it seems that even DirectX mode with DSOAL has reversed height channels. As you can hear in the video, enemies above you will sound like they are below you. This bug doesn't seem to apply to every sound in the game, just enemy sounds it seems.
