Call of the Sea - Part 8 - We finally find the truth!
0Hey everyone and welcome back to Call of the Sea.
In the last video we had completed some of the constellations and opened a few of the doors in this room. We still have another door to open so start to place the goo in the right order on the floor. Once the constellations is in the right position the door is opened, this area has a portal for us to place our hand on allowing us to turn into the fish person and swim to the other side. Once we arrive we find another machine and place our hand inside. We are given another mark on our hand. We head back to the main room to see if we can solve the meaning behind these marks.
Looking at the marks on our have and the starts above we are able to replicate the right constellations on the floor and opened the doorway to the next area. When we enter we can seen a mirror like items with the black goo dripping down, we can hear it whispering to us. We push forward and enter a huge chamber this must be the area were the sacrifices where made. When we walk deeper into the chamber we see a figure in the distance, could it be Harry! As we approach we are both submerged in the black goo. At first it seems Harry preformed the ritual, but we realise that Harry wanted us to believe he had gone through with it all, but why? We spend time thinking about everything and what could have actually happened. it looks like Cassandra was the person who actually went through with the ritual and it doesn't work on normal people.
Harry learnt about our true fate and if we did not return to the island then we would die a slow and painful death. Harry faked his own death and lead us all the way to the right location to allow us to live. Is this the decision we would have make if Harry told us the truth from the beginning? Harry went through all this to try and save us, but even at the end the decision is ours to choose. We can choose to embrace our fate and leave our partner behind that we have spent so many years with. Or we can head home and suffer but have our last remaining years with the person we love.
We know who we really are now, but we decide we head home to Harry even if this means we will have a slow painful death, we will have a happy last few years with Harry. We love Harry to much to just have memories without a final goodbye, we have made up our mind and head back to the boat.
