Monster Hunter World - Part - 31 - Finding & fighting Teostra!
0Hey everyone and welcome back to Monster Hunter World.
We have not gathered enough tracks to hunt down the Elder Dragon known as Teostra. We know that we can now find Teostra in the Elder Recess so we travel there once we are prepared to fight. Once we arrive we make sure to eat food so we have the best chances against this monster.
Once we are ready we follow our fireflies to the location of Teostra. Teostra is a very explosive monsters and like to spend time in the heated parts of the Elder Recess, this means we need to keep taking cool drinks to keep our health as high as possible. Teostra is a very aggressive monster and does not hold back at all when fighting. Teostra is able to take large amounts of the hunters health quickly so we need to make sure to dodge. Using the Insect Glaive allows me to get above Teostra and even jump away from some of its attacks.
After Teostra has fought enought as stored up enough power it is able to do an explosive attack that will take all of a hunters health in one attack if you are not far enough away. This attack is clear to see once you are aware of it, but if you are locked into a combo it can be difficult to avoid. Teostra also does not give you many chances to heal so it is a good idea to do this fight with other hunters who can take Teostra's attention.
After dealing enought damage to Teostra it will move to another area just like the other monsters in the game. This gives us a change to sharpen our weapons and heal before fighting the monster again.
After a long fight we manage to take down the Elder Dragon making the area more save for other monster hunters. We harvest the materials from Teostra that we can use back at base before travelling home. We report to the commander about our work, and we know there is still another Elder dragon that we must track down and defeat.
