This is why you always make a manual save when you arrive in a new level. As I'm able to start here before the unfortunate events in the previous video. This is also why we all play Stalker. The A-Life is smart enough to seek cover and be a challenge and not just stand there firing at you from an exposed position in every gunfight. Using the weeds and flowers to hide behind was not the best decision in the previous video, when the Military was concealed in the trailer peeking out using the windows.

After my brief time in Garbage, I return to Rostok, get my reward, sell my old armor and artifacts and scrape up enough money to buy the tactical helmet. I still can't upgrade any of my weapons and armor but at least the tactical helmet has the 1st generation night vision.
